Whereas the ECCBAC welcomes public input, and we want to thank the delegate for bringing forward her concerns; and Whereas the ECCBAC’s Partners for Climate Protection (PCP) Program Working Group unanimously agreed that the sources of information referenced in the presentation lack credibility and the claims made are false, flawed or at best misleading. Be it resolved that: 1. The ECCBAC SUPPORT the City’s continued participation in the Federation of Canadian Municipalities (FCM) PCP Program; and 2. The ECCBAC RECOMMENDS that City Council approve the City’s membership in the FCM PCP Program.
